Q: Is Wi-Fi included?

A:   Yes, every unit has its own network, user and password, all common areas and beach club have good wi-fi signal too.    

Q: Is there good cellphone signal in the area?

A: Depending on the provider the cellular service can be irregular, since there is wi-fi in all areas, the best communication is by WhatsApp.

Q: Is the Laundry Service available in Elan?

A: All of our condominiums have a laundry room with washing and drying machines for your convenience.

Q: In there any possibility to invest in Elan?

A:   Definitely, investing in our properties can be one of the best decisions you make, one of our life style specialist will provide all the information for you.    

Q: Will I be able to see Whales during my stay at Elan?

A:   Our concierge is prepared to book the best tours for you, Whale watching at Ballena has two seasons so you have a great opportunity to see these magnificent mammals real close.       

Q: How is the weather in the area?

A: Where are on the beach and also in the mountains, that is one of the reasons why our area is so unique, sunny and cloudy, warm and rainy, just spectacular.

Q: Where can I buy groceries?

A: Two very well stocked supermarkets are located in Uvita, open from 07:00 am to 09:00 pm

Q: Does Elan have a Restaurant?

A: There is a number of incredibly good restaurants in the Dominical-Uvita and Ojochal area, all types for all budgets, the information is readily available in every condominium and our concierge service is also ready to make a recommendation.

Q: What is included in Elan?

A: Fully furnished units with Gourmet type kitchen. Independent Wi-Fi network and internet access in common areas. Q: Is there a minimum or maximum age to stay at Elan?

A: Everyone is welcome to Elan at Ballena Beach. No minimum or maximum age required

Q: When is the Check-in / Check-out time?

A: Check-in: 03:00 pm / Check-out: 11:00 am

Q: What are the Cancellation policies?

A: Reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival require payment in full to confirm, which is non-refundable. Reservations made more than 30 days prior to arrival require a 25% deposit of total rent with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. After booking the reservation, the deposit is non-refundable. All Envision, Easter Week, Christmas and New Year’s reservations require a 4-night minimum stay and payment in full 45 days prior of the travel year and are non-refundable. Upon confirming your reservation with a non-refundable deposit, you will receive a confirmation letter indicating the arrival/departure dates, rent due and the Terms and Conditions.

Q: What are the Payment policies?

A: 25% Guarantee Deposit is required at the moment of confirming your reservation. Non-refundable in case of cancelation. Balance Due is required 30 days prior to arrival. Non-refundable in case of cancelation. Reservations made with less than 30 days prior to arrival require full payment to be confirmed.  Non-refundable in case of cancelation. Reservations during Envision Festival, Easter Week and Holiday Season (Dec 20th – Jan 02nd) require a 4-night minimum stay, the 25% guarantee deposit to confirm and balance due required 45 days prior to arrival, payment non-refundable in case of cancellation.

Q: What is the bedding available?

A: All the units are furnished with queen & king size beds

Q: What is the minimum night required?

A:   The minimum stay is two nights, depending on the season we can make an exception, please let us know the dates you are planning to visit us     

Q: What are the rates?

A: Depending on the season we have different rates, please tell us the dates you are planning to stay with us and we will gladly send a quote.

Q: Where is Elan at Ballena Beach Located?

A: Elan is located on the kilometer #170 of Costanera Sur’s highway. You can also follow directions using Waze (https://waze.com/ul/hd1s7z7rm3) or Google Maps (https://goo.gl/maps/EXMoyH4VTYkYeWjo8). Even on your own vehicle or renting a car, any kind of vehicle has easy access.

Q: Is Elan close to the beach?

A: Elan is the only Resort in the area with a private access to Ballena Beach at only 200 meters from your condominium.

Q: Are the Condominiums Beachfront?

A: Our Condominiums have beautiful views of the Tropical Rainforest. Enjoy the lush vegetation, birds, lizards, monkeys and more. Our Villas are cliffside with huge ocean views.

Q: On which floor will I stay?

A: Your Condominium can be on the ground floor, second floor or penthouse. We are not able to guarantee the floor your condo will be, but let us know your preference in your reservation request.

Q: What is the maximum capacity on each Condominium and Villa?

A: Our 1, 2 and 3 bedroom Condominiums have a maximum capacity of 2, 4 and 6 guests. We have condominiums for 8 guests subject to availability.
